AirplaneI have yet to accept that I am no longer a college student. The feeling is surreal. I feel as if I still have an exam lurking over me, with an assignment due thereafter. I guess being programmed with this type of mentality for the last 17 years or so are to blame. Old habits die hard.

On Wednesday, my collegiate ties will be completely severed. That morning, I board my one-way flight out of Florida into a foreign part of the United States, Wisconsin. Holy Sh*t… WISCONSIN! What was I thinking!?

Haha, its not that bad. I have friends in Madison and a few more down in Chicago. Most importantly, I’ll only be in Wisconsin for a year to conduct my training. After that, I’ll return to Florida and assist the company with their regional expansion. This should be a rewarding experience! Sometimes you have to put yourself in uncomfortable situations (like moving to a whole new place) to see how strong you are.

In addition to working, I’ll be focusing on several small entrepreneurial projects. One of which will be this blog that needs A LOT of content. I’ll also add more content to Greekopedia and work on the One Greek Store site. Another important project is a site that is developing a foundation for social search. This project involves two programmers and two individuals focused on business/marketing (including myself). I hope I have time for all this stuff, gosh…

Where in Wisconsin will you be? I read your blog on occasion, and I live in the Milwaukee area. If you need any advice or restaurant suggestions, just ship me an email.

Jonathan is right, long underwear will be needed if you plan on doing any outdoor activities between November & March.

Janesville? Sorry to hear that. :) The only reason I go to Janesville is for a disc golf tournament now and again. But it doesn’t seem like a bad place to live, just a little boring.

A fish fry is a good place to start. But if you want TRUE Wisconsin fun, try to find a fish boil. I don’t eat fish, but I have been to a few of them in my time. Interesting.

I live in Milwaukee, and it would be tough for me to live anywhere else in the state. Milwaukee has everything that you need. And finally a winning baseball team!

Hope to hear more about your WI visit. Like I said, I am pretty familiar with Madison as well so if you want any suggestions, just let me know.

Even is wisconsin you can still have fun. I lived out there for two years after college and it was a blast. Also, thanks to the joys of the internet, you can still do your money research, and keep yoursence of humor. Check out this link. http://www.thenewsroom.com/details/323598

the only advice I can give don’t get too many credit cards, otherwise you will start working on credit companies. Good luck!
