My boss changed his mind after 6 months - no opportunity for growth and wants me to keep doing my mindless boring job. My friend said I have to pay my dues ... one of my coworkers said another girl in my position stayed five years before moving to another company with a bigger role. Seriously five years before taking on a bigger role? That's just ridiculous. If I stayed five years at 30K a year with the 2 percent raise, I'd never get anywhere.
